Has established the following four distinct programs:
iCan focuses on identifying and cultivating the talents, gifts, creative and sports interest of young people. iCan will offer participation and training in sports, physical fitness and wellness, creative arts and crafting activities. Staff and volunteers with specialized experience will provide oversight for these programs.
iWill works with elementary, middle and high school students and provide encouragement and incentives for good grades, behavior and community involvement.
iLearn is an alternative educational course that fosters both traditional and non-traditional curriculum on alternating days. Educate all is derived from the motto that quality education does not discriminate against race, age, gender, culture or past mistakes. The center will offer an education program that is tailored to the individual.
Some courses offered are GED classes, language, test taking skills, math, english, science, career courses, and planned parenthood.
iNeed focuses on at risk middle and high school students and their mentors participate in a structured program of support. The two are paired for 12-month period. During that time the two will participate in weekly planned activities to strengthened the relationship between the two and improve the young person’s confidence and hopefulness.
